Magen David. Kabbalistic Work on the Letters by the Radbaz - First and Rare Edition. Amsterdam, 1713 - Magen David, Kabbalistic work on the secret of the 22 Hebrew letters, by the Mekubal Rabbi David ibn Zimra [the Radbaz]. Edited by Rabbi Moshe Zacuto.  First and rare edition. Amsterdam, 1713. Based on the title page, the book was printed by Rabbi Anshil Shochet. However, in practice, only the first 4 leaves were printed by him; the rest of the book was printed at the printing house of Rabbi Netanel Poah.  Rabbi David bar Shlomo ibn Zimra [the Radbaz] (1479-1573) one of the leadi8ng Poskim who was exiled from Spain. After the Expulsion, served as Av Beis Din, Rosh Yeshiva and leader of the Jews of Egypt. After forty years, he immigrated to Eretz Yisroel and settled in Safed, servinf as its Rav. Rabbi Bezalel Ashkenazi and Rabbeinu the Ari were his disciples in Egypt.  [4], 52 leaves.  Stains. Moth, mainly in the margins, slightly affecting the text. Good condition. The title page is loose and with small tears.
