Letter by the Admor Rabbi Moshe Yehoshua of Vizhnitz, Author of the Yeshu'ot Moshe, to Rabbi Yitzchak Gerstenkorn, the Mayor of Bnei Brak - Letter with a request for support for the family of an Avrech whose father is hospitalized. Handwritten entirely by him. 23 lines. Apparently before 1954.   אור ליום ב' תצוה שיכון וויזניץ ... הרבני הנכבד ומפואר בפי כל... יצחק גרשטנקורן ראש עירנו ....  ”ה”ק משה יהושע בהה”צ שליט”א” The Admor Rabbi Moshe Yehoshua of Vizhnitz (1916-2012) one of the leading Admorim of our generation and president of Mo'etzet Gedolei HaTorah. His greatness in Kedusha and Torah cannot be described. Devotedly lead the community of Vizhnitz Chassidim for approx. forty years, until his passing in 2012.  Rabbi Yitzchak Gerstenkorn (1891-1962) the founder of Bnei Brak and its first mayor. Was born in POland and immigrated with his wife to Eretz Yisroel in 1924. Was the founder of the Bayit Venachalah group, which established the Chareidi settlement which eventually became the city of Bnei Beral. In 1939 he was chosen its mayor, a posiiton he held until 1954.  14X18.5 cm. Stains on the upper margin. Good condition.
