Broadside Calling to Support the Poor of Eretz Yisroel with an Approbation by Sephardic Sages - Lick, 1860 - Appeal to the Ashkenaz-born Chevrat Ohavei Zion to build shelters for the poor of Eretz Yisroel on behalf of a line of rabbis. With a stamp of the Chevrat Ohavei Zion, the Chacham Bashi Rabbi Chaim Nissim Abulafia.  In their approbation, they describe the residents as  ”עדת ציון הצולעה והנידחה והמגרעה” (the limp and remote community of Zion).  Printed in Lick, POland at the press of Zvi Hirsch Petzell.  33.5X22 cm.  Some tears. Good overall condition.
