Photograph with a Notation Handwritten by Maran the Rishon LeZion Rabbi Ovadya Yosef - The photograph depicts Rabbi Meir Shimon ben Yitzchak Halevi (Max) Warshavsky, the Chief Rabbi of Strassburg and the Lower Rein delivering a speech during the event of the dedication of a Beut Midrash in France. Maran's presence is oustanding.  The photograph was sent to Maran, who handwrote on its verso: ”הרב ורשבסקי נואם בנוכחותי כשביקרתי בשטראסבורג לחנוכת בית המדרש (סיון תשמ”ב)” (Rabbi Warshavsky delivering a speech in my presence when I visted Strassburg for the dedication of the Beit Midrash (Sivan 1982)).  An interesting and unique item!
