Copy of Geonim and Tzaddikim: the Gaon the Rogachover and his father, and Rabbi Moshe Aryeh Freund - Sefer Kesef Nivchar two sections - Lemberg, 1865.  The book:  Kesef Nivchar. 160 rules authored by Rabbi Baruch Bendit Giaitin of Hedies.  Signatures and stamps:  On the front guard leaf, a signature: ” אפרים פישל ראזין ” and a dedication to him with the title Harav.  This is the signature of the father of the Gaon the Rogachover, Rabbi Ephraim Fischel, who was one of the important learners of Rogachov and a leading Chassid of the Tzemach Tzeddek of Lubavitch.  On the lower part, a handwritten dedication: ”זה הספר שייך להבחור יוסף ב”ה” (the son of the Rav...) This is a self-dedication and signature of the Gaon Rabbi Yosef Razin , known as the Rogachover, when he was young.  Stamp of the Gaon Rabbi Moshe Aryeh Freund , Gaon Av Beit Din of Jerusalem.  Geonim and Tzaddikim:   The Gaon Rabbi Yosef Razin of Dvinsk - known as the Rogachover [1858-1936]. A wonderous Gaon. Many used to send him their question and he would reply in short with 'עיין' שם ושם וכו'. These were references to the entire Talmud. His study method was mainly that of the Rambam. Served as a Rav of the Chabad Chassidim in Kopust and Dvinsk. His Chidushim were published in the book Tzofnat pane'ach.  The Gaon Rabbi Moshe Aryeh Freund [1904-1996) Gaon Av Beis Din of HaEidah HaChareidit of Jerusalem. Was born in HUngary to his father Rabbi Yisroel Freund, the Rav of Honiad. After the destruction of Europe, immigarted to Erezt Yisrael, where he was appointed Rosh Av Beis Din of HaEidah HaChareidit after the passing of Rabbi Yoel of Satmar. After the passing of the Minchas Yitzchak, ge was appointed Gaon Av beis Din. Chassidim of Jerusalem saw him not only as Av Beis Din but as an Admor. On Sabbath eve, he used to conduct a Tish in his home. The residents of Jerusalem recall many miraculous stories about people who were blessed by him and saw Yeshuah.
