Sefer Sha'arei Ephraim by the Gaon Rabbi Ephraim Zalman Margolis. First Edition - Dubna, 1820 - Sefer Yesod on the Dinim and Customs of Keri'at HaTorah by the Gaon Rabbi Ephraim Zalman Margolis. The book deals with the Dinim of Keri'at HaTorah. This book alongside the book Mateh Ephraim, also by the above Rav, which deals with HIlchot Yamim Noraim, have become Sifrei Yesod and had many editions.  This is the first edition of the book.  Title page with partial red lettering. Some glosses in fine script.  The Gaon Rabbi Ephraim Zalman Margolis [1761-1828] author of the Beis Ephraim, Mateh Ephraim and more. One of the leading Acharonim and a leading contemporary Poskim. Already in his lifetime was famed as a leading Posek and his books were common, especially this one, Sha'arei Ephraim.  [2], 26; 22 leaves. The last leaf is detached.  21.5 cm.  Good-fair condiiton.
