Chassidus: First Edition of the Sefer Chiber LeTahara. A Gift from the Author’s Son Rabbi Ben Zion Yehuda Leib Twersky of Hornosteipel. Berditchev 1898. - ”תשורת דודי הרה”צ ר' לייב שליט”א מהארנאסטייפל לי בשנת תרס”א בקאנטעקאזיווע” [A gift from my uncle the Rabbi Leib Shlita of Hornosteipel to me in 1901 in Kontikoziva]. Sefer Chiber LeTahara, which includes two works, the first on Netilas Yadayim and the second, Mikveh Yisrael, on Halachot of the Mikveh. First edition, Berditchev 1895. On the flyleaves and title page, stamps of Rabbi Nachum Rabinovich of Kontikoziva, son of Rabbi Pinchas of Kontikoziva (the author’s grandson). On the lower part of the title page, a handwritten notation by Rabbi Menachem Nachumindicating that he received the book as a gift from his uncle Rabbi Ben Zion Yehuda Leib Twersky of Hornosteipel. 55, [1], 86 leaves, [1] pp. Stains. Some moth perforations. Tears to the last leaf not affecting the text. Loose binding. Good condition. The Admor Rabbi Menachem Nachum Rabinovich (1887-1959) was Av Beis Din of Haifa, and prior to that the Rosh Yeshiva of Koidinov in Baranovich, son of the Admor Rabbi Pinchas Rabinovich of Kontikoziva, and grandson of the Admor Rabbi Mordechai Dov of Hornosteipel. He received his Hora'ah Semicha by Rabbi Chaim of Brisk and other rabbis. His Divrei Torah were collected in the work Machshevet Nachum.
