The only one copy in world?? Bibliographic Discovery: Petach Hada'at on Yoreh Deah Two Sections - First Edition Piotrkow Lodz 1911-1926 - Petach Hada'at, a basic and comprehensive work on Shulchan Aruch Yoreh Deah and its commentators. Two Sections: section I on Hilchot Melicha and section II on Hilchot Basar Vechalav. By the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Pinchas Luria of Zduńska Wola, author of Shulchan Hamishpat, Meshiv Kahalacha and more. First edition in the author's lifetime - Section I: Piotrkow, 1911. 5, 99, 2-3 leaves. Section II: Lodz, after 1926. [2], 160 leaves. There is no copy to compare to (see below|); apparently, a complete copy. While Section I on Hilchot Melicha is known and appears in varied libraries, the second section of the work, on Hikchot Basar Vechalav, is extremely rare and is bibliographically unknown (unlike later editions from the late 20th century). The year of printing on the title page: ”ועל פתחנו כל מגדים” is a mistake of course (as its Gematria is 797 - the year 2037). As there is no orderly documentation, the year of printing is based on an obituary appearing on the last page, where the author mentions his wife who passed away in 1926. Approbations by leading rabbis: Rabbi Meir Yechiel Halevi pf Ostrovtza, the Maharsham of Brezhan, the Sdei Chemed, Rabbi Eliyahu Chaim Meisel Av Beit Din of Lodz and more. In the rare Section II, there are additional approbations by the Machzeh Avraham, Rabbi Chanoch Zvi Hacohen of Bendin, and more. And by the way, it is interesting to note that in his other book 'Meshiv Kehalacha' (Lodz 1913, which is also very rare and is not listed in most databases!) - the author writes that he printed only a few copies, as the name suggests: ”Chaim Pinchas” = only 276! Undoubtedly, this book was printed in a similar or smaller number of copies, and because it was printed very close to the Holocaust, no copies have survived. Stable bindings. Stains. Varied blemishes. Some tears and moth perforations. Good overall condition.
