Reishit Chochmah, Munkatch 1891-1898 - Reishit Chochmah by the Mekubal Rabbi Eliyahu de Vidas.  Pedigreed:  On the title page, a fine dedication handwritten and signed by Rabbi Moshe Greenwald to his talmid  the Gaon Rabbi Zeev Wolf Halevi Tirnoar  ”דורון דרשה לתלמידי יקירי הבחור המופלג בתו”י חתן תמים למעלות מו”ה זאב טירנויער ני”ו מק”ק סאטמאר - ליום חתונתו”, בברכות חמות ולבביות: ”שיהיה זיווגו עולה יפה, ויזכה לברכת גבר ירא ה' האמורה ע”י נעים זמירות ישראל, כעתירת אונ”פ [אוהבו נפש] רבו החותם בכל חותמי ברכות, הק' משה בלאמו”ה עמרם זלה”ה”. Rabbi Moshe Greenwald, author of Arugot Habosem, Rav and Rosh Yeshiva of Chust, one of the leading rabbis of Hungary. Followed the Rebbes of Belz and Shinova.  The Tzaddik of Schotz - the Gaon Rabbi Zeev Wolf Halevi Tirnoar (1882-1959) Av Beis Din of Shamloi and Schotz, author of Sefer Tal Orot, a disicple of Rabbi Moshe Greenwald, the writer of the dedication, and Rabbi Yehuda Greenwald Av Beis Din of Satmar.  In an impressive leather binding.  276 leaves. 23.5 cm.  Wear and stains.  Good condition.
