Rare! Shut Mishpat Tzeddek - Salonika, 1610 - First Edition - The author, Rabbi Meir Melamed , was one of the leading rabbis of Turkey, a disciple of the Atzmot Yosef .  Due to its importance, the work is referred to many times by late Psikah books; Rabbi Akiva Eiger, for example, refers to it dozens of times.  The work was printed over 180 years! This is the first edition of the first volume, which, as stated, was printed in 1610. Shortly later, the second volume was printed; its copies, however, were destroyed and cannot be found! The year appearing in section II is הו”שע referring to שע”ו (1616) or שפ”א (1621) (see Steinsneider, p. 1708).  Section III was printed for the first time only in 1795; section II, whose first edition did not survive, was reprinted in 1799.  This Shut, despite its importance, was never reprinted (except for section II). The Press of the Brothers Shlomo, Shimon and Moshe, Salonika.  260, 265-272 leaves.  The title page and last leaf were completed with a professional photocopy.  Fine, renewed binding.  Moth holes, mainly in the margins.
