Copy of the Leading Rabbis of Pressburg! -  Shut Rabbi Bezalel Ashkenazi, who was famed mainly due to his larhe work, the Shitah Mekubetzet (the author passed away shortly before the book was published).  On the title page and flyleaves, signatures of the leaders and rabbis of Pressburg: Gaon Rabbi David KItze , one of the leading disciples of the Maharam Barabi and Dayan of Pressburg. Was a Dayan at the Beis Din of Rabbi Meir Barabi in Pressburg. In 1768, signed the regulations of the Pressburg community. Rabbi Moshe ben Rabbi Michl Charles , one of the leaders of the Pressburg community who was close to the Chasam Sofer.  Rabbi Kalman Pappenheim , one of the dignitaries of Pressburg who was circumcised by the Chasam Sofer.  Rabbi Wolf Pappenheim, leader of the Pressburg community in the days of the Chasam Sofer, signing letters and documents with him.  Italian signatures and glosses.  In the Rare Book Collection of the National LIbrary.  Stefansky, Sifrei Yesod 282.  114 leaves.
