Exciting. The Rashba on which the holy Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalma Ehrenreich of Shamloy wrote his novellae - Warsaw, 1902.
This is a thick volume of Chidushei Harashba, two sections in a single volume on the tractates of the Shas.
A sacred copy that was studied by the holy Gaon of Shamloy and on which he wrote his novellae and glosses.
His handwritten signature appears on the flyleaf "הק' שלמה זלמן עהרנרייך (ראב"דפה?)".
Imoprtant glosses and comments, lengthy and short, handwritten by him.
Some glosses by other writers including his son, who writed in his father's name ("אאמו"ר הגה"צ הגיה...").
On the flyleaves, many notations by his descendants - including his son and successor the Gapon Rabbi yehoshua who states that the book had belonged to his father - in a notation from 1943. Less than a year later, the holy Gaon of Shamloy died on Kidush Hashem by the Nazi murderers.
Additional notations by his disciples from Ohel (Yehoshua Oslander) and Satmar (Aryeh Leib Rosenberg).
The holy Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Ehrenreich (1863-1944) a Gaon and Tzaddik, one of the greatest Meshivim of his generation and leaders of Chassidic Jewry in Hungary. Author of Shut lechem Slomo and approx. forty additional books. A leading disciple of the holy Rav the author of Kedushat Yom Tov of Siget. In 1899, was appointed the Rav of Shamloy and the vicinity, where he established his yeshiva and community.
