Chinese Imperial Grade Silk on Silk Altar Cloth - A late Qing Dynasty Court Altar table cloth, three circulars of silk on silk embroidered with gold wrapped emblem of Shou and multi colored dragons among clouds in silver wrapped work on a deep 'jade' green silk ground and with yellow silk endings incorporating white jade tassel tied disks. Late Qing reign of the Empress Dowager, Cixi, 1861-1908. Brilliant court work, kept in superior condition. Seven feet, 8 inches long, by 13 inches wide.
