Aba Fenichel, oil on canvas, mounted on board. 51 x 70cm With frame: 66 x 86cm (frame is in fair condition; should be replaced). - Aba Fenichel, born in 1906 in Poland, tried to make aliyah in 1948 on the ”sha'ar yashuv” ship but was deported to Cyprus. Eventually he made it to Israel where he studied, worked and taught as an artist.  He died in 1986.
