Antique Viennese coffee pot, made of 813 silver (LOTH 13) with wooden handles, decorated with hand-chased repoussé work in a floral pattern, lid decorated with owner's monogram, signed by the maker and dated 1840. The silversmith is Andreas Weichesmueller, although some attribute the initials AW to the silversmith Anton Wayand, who also worked in Vienna at the same period.
