High-quality Indian silver sugar container by the renowned goldsmith Oomersi Mawji (mark: O.M BHUJ), who worked in the KUTCH region of India. Most of Oomersi's creations were made in very high purity silver ranging from 95% - 98%, entirely decorated with hand chasing. (Oomersi Mawji (active 1860–1930), a well-known 19th-century Kutch goldsmith based in Bhuj, produced high-quality silver, often marked 'OM BHUJ' or 'O.M & Co'. His works, characterized by intricate motifs of flowers, leaves, and hunting scenes, are displayed in prestigious collections such as the Victoria and Albert Museum (London), the Guimet Museum (Paris), and the Arthur M.
