A rare and exceptionally high-quality German silverware set, circa 1780, made in Augsburg. The spout is sculpted in the shape of a duck's head, the lid handle is sculpted in the shape of a swan and decorated with satyr heads against a background of swaying woven vine branches, wooden handles. The two smaller items (the sugar bowl and cream jug) bear late Austro-Hungarian stamps with a late signature, however all three items were made in the 18th century.
