(272) VEZIT À PARIS, CHATELAINE, CIRCA 1780 - Belt chain: Watch in enameled gold (pit-fired) in blue and white, comprising four oval enamel medallions, all painted in the same basic pink color, one depicting a cherub with 2 doves, a second with hunting features, a third with 2 doves, and a fourth with musical attributes. 4 chatelaines on enameled gold chains: One in oval form, engraved, with Maria, which may contain a relic. The second a small cat in chased gold on an oval opal glass. The third in conical form in chased gold with floral decor, surrounded by a cut stone in round form, possibly a citrine. The fourth in the shape of a cross, which functions as a key, the hook and the back of the links are made of gilt brass. The watch hand is gold, the movement: pillar movement in baluster form, chain and fusee escapement, pierced and engraved balance cock, silver regulating dial, blued steel hands, gilt brass plate, signed: Vezit à Paris.
