PERROT À GENÈVE, ENAMELLED BELT CHAIN WATCH IN LOUIS XVI STYLE, CIRCA 1760 - Gold case, enamelled, guilloché on the back under blue enamel, in the center a medallion with a loving couple, surrounded by flourishes and two flower vases adorned with small rosettes (transparent stones). Enamelled bow, bezel rim set with small rosettes. Belt chain made of 10K gold, consisting of 2 medallions and the key, also made of gold, guilloché and enamelled. Movement: Gilded pillar blank movement, also signed: PH. Perrot à Genève N 12881, verge escapement, large silver regulating rosette. D: 51.5 mm, Thickness: 20 mm, Total weight: 127g In his expertise, Prof. André Curtit wrote in 1995: ”Specimen in perfect condition and working order”.
