Comments/description: This piece may be the face panel for an illuminated sign. It has many characteristics of such and even has transparent colored acetate gel film behind the lettering as some lamps from the period do. This is speculation, as we have never seen an actual lamp in this style or design from the brewer. The very rich textured golden frame really adds a lot to the pice, raising it to another level.
