Coca-Cola 1940s Embossed Tin Sign EXCELLENT - Brewer/Business Name: Coca-Cola Company, Atlanta, Georgia Manufacturer/Plant: Unknown Date of manufacture: circa 1940s Contents/Type: N/A Dimensions: 24 w x 10 h. Comments/description: Heavy-duty sign on thinker metal with a terrific heavy coat of paint. Possibly from the 1930s. The logo is a notably different color and texture than the border, which is much brighter and has a sheen identical to that of the red. The lettering is roughly textured and duller, as if a special treat was applied, such as a reflective agent or metallic finish that has lost is intensity over time. There are only a few small marks on the piece so it is not dulled from wear or use. All items are original unless otherwise noted. Some wear around the hanger holes and the border has some rippling. Excellent sturdy piece.
