Letter from the Rebbe with a rare blessing, handwritten “Mazal Tov Mazal Tov for the wedding”—Tammuz 1968. - Typewritten letter on official letterhead, from the 12-13th of Tammuz, 1968. In the beginning the Rebbe acknowledged receipt of the recipient’s letter and adds handwritten remarks about mentioning the person in prayers, and then the Rebbe writes about the days of geulah and the hafatza of ma’ayanot, a subject that was very important to the Rebbe. He continues: “Distribution out of devotion and without regard to everything that prevents and hinders and vice versa ... and as the promise of Chazal to purify (an outgoing action – i.e. also to purify others) helps him a lot from above - may God be with him and Israel ... and Israel oseh Chayil.” He signs: “with blessing for Chag HaGeula”, with his handwritten signature above which he writes (rare): “with blessings of mazal tov, mazal tov, for the wedding of M. D. Rabinovitch”. Under this are marei mekomot for what appears in his letter. 1 leaf, creases.
