Lot of original biblical engravings—Amsterdam, Paris, and London, 18th century. - Lot of wonderful engravings depicting events from the Tanach. Original engravings which quite accurately depict the events, from various artists. At the bottom of which there is an inscription explaining the creation. 1. Four small engravings on one leaf, depicting events from the Books of the Prophets: the building of the Holy Temple by Solomon; the stoning of Zechariah ben Jehoiada; the exile of Uziah the King; members of the tribe of Ephraim nourishing the prisoners. King David asking the Urim v’Tumim, perhaps before going out to one of his wars, prostrating himself in humility and kneeling by the high priest and in front of the Menorah. By August Clement, Paris 1710. 39x24.5cm. 3. Four engravings on a large leaf: the golden Menorah and the showbread; Sukkot celebrations; the Shechinah above the Aron; building the Mishkan. By J.
