Signature of the Ga’avad of the Eida Charedit, Rabbi Yosef Zvi Dushinsky (the Maharitz). Jerusalem 1932. - Early marriage certificate of the Eida Charedit from the Mandate period, signed by the Ga’avad of the Eida and Chief Rabbi, Rabbi Yosef Zvi Dushinsky, forefather of the Dushinsky chassidus. The certificate was given for the marriage of Naftali Bing and Elka Chaya Salzman, from Frankfurt. 22x25cm. Filing holes, light tears in the margins, good condition. Rabbi Yosef Zvi Dushinsky (the Maharitz) (1867-1949). was son of Rabbi Yisrael and son-in-law of Rabbi Mordechai Yehuda Leib Winkler of Mod, student of Rabbi Simcha Bonem Sofer, Rabbi of Pressburg, and Rabbi Moshe Falk, rabbi of Bonihad. He was rabbi in Galanta and Chust (Hungary), and later Ga’avad in Jerusalem, a posek and rosh yeshiva. He was a member of Agudat Yisrael’s Council of Torah Sages until the Eida Charedit split from it. Authored many books.
