Av, 1993. - Letter entirely handwritten and signed by Rabbi Shalom Mordechai HaKohen Shvadron, the Maggid HaYerushalmi, written to Rabbi Meir Wander. In the letter Rabbeinu discussed with Rabbi Wonder regarding notes and corrections of errors in his books. The sentences were written in R. Shalom’s eloquent style - ”As one speaks to another , and if the conversations evoke a slight smile, it is rewarding!”. 15.5x21cm. Filing holes, good condition. Rabbi Shalom Shvadron (1912-1998) was the grandson of Rabbi Shalom Mordechai Shvadron, the Maharsham of Berezhan, and son-in-law of Rabbi Yehuda Leib Auerbach. He was known for his fiery drashot in synagogues and yeshivas, especially in the Great Synagogue of Zichron Moshe. He edited the books “Ohr Yahel” from his rabbi Yehuda Leib Chasman, and “Lev Eliyahu” for Rabbi Eliyahu Lupian.
