Letter handwritten and signed by Rabbi Yitzhak Shlomo Unger, head of the Chug Chatam Sofer yeshiva. Jerusalem 1953. - Letter written entirely by hand and signed by Rabbi Yitzhak Shlomo Unger, when he was a rabbi in Givat Shaul, before he served as rabbi of the Chug Chatam Sofer community in Bnei Brak. The letter has a certificate of ravakut (bachelorhood) for a bachur Michael Buchinger. He details that he asked 3 different people regarding the bachur, which was required because of the difficulty of such matters after the Shoah. 14x22cm. Filing holes, good condition. Rabbi Yitzhak Shlomo Unger (1921-2004) was a gaon and rabbi who served for years in the Beit Din of Rabbi Wozner alongside Rabbi Natan Gestettner. In 1962 he established the Chug Chatam Sofer yeshiva (Machaneh Avraham in memory of his father) and led it until his death.
