Recommendation letter handwritten and signed by Rabbi Mordechai Yafeh Schlesinger, Av Beit Din of Eisenstadt. Tel Aviv 1953. - 16x17cm. Filing holes, stains, good condition. Rabbi Mordechai Yafeh Schlesinger (1909-1998) was Rabbi of the city of Eisenstadt, and after moving to Israel served as rabbi of the Chatam Sofer community. He was considered a gadol hador and served as a member of the Council of Torah Sages.
