Unique book! The author took upon himself, in the work, to justify all the words of Chazal that seem to contradict one another. On the 5th leaf there is a famous map which he used to justify the machloket which appears in Masechet Brachot (28a), regarding the places added to the synagogue after the beginning of Rebbi Eliezer ben Azarya’s reign.
Many notes and signatures of ownership on the blank initial leaves. [2], 4, 97, 114; 7, 9-10, 1-13, [1] leaves. Tape with some missing text to the title page and an additional leaf, wear in the margins of a number of early pages with light damage to text, worming holes, stains, original thick binding, tape to the binding of the spine, fair to good condition.
