Rare: Shut Kerem Shlomo, copy owned by Rabbi Eliyahu Salman Mani of Chevron. Only edition, from the author’s lifetime, Salonika 1719.

Sefer Kerem Shlomo, “questions and answers heard, corrected, and authored by … Moharar Shlomo Amarilio…”. First and only edition. 26, 222 leaves. Found in three libraries, all in the rare books section. An additional facsimile edition based on this was printed in 1990. Antique binding, leather spine, light (few) worming holes, tape on the last leaf, overall good condition.


The title page has notes of ownership in Mizrahi script, with the names “Eliyahu Salman Mani” (see below), “Yitzhak ben Rabbi Avraham Molcho.”


HaRav Eliyahu Salimon Mani, He lived from 1818-1899, one of the Geonim of Babylon, Av Beit Din and Rabbi of Hevron and head of the Kabbalist yeshiva Beit El, mystic, compiled many books, mostly on the Kabbalah. He was connected to and studied with the Ben Ish Hai.
