Rare: Midrash Tanchuma: among the first books printed in Verona, 1595.
Sefer Tanchuma, “also called Yelamdenu, a midrash on the Five Books of Torah”, an edition with additions, including a few parshiyot not printed previously and an exegesis of foreign words.
Printed in Verona (the 6th or 7th book printed in that city). 97, [1] leaves. Catalogued as rare by the National Library, Tel Aviv, and Bar-Ilan University libraries. Title page has a handsome engraved illustration of angels and more. At the beginning of each chumash is a framed letter with a nice engraving. New binding, many pages have been professionally repaired, stains, overall fair to good condition. The text is mostly readable and in very good condition for a book this old and rare.
