A volume containing Mishnayot Seder Taharot, with the commentaries of the Rambam and Rabbi Shimshon of Shontz "as printed in Venice at the printery of Justin with beautiful fonts, ink and paper ... proofread from Talmud books that were proofread by Gedolei Hador (the Maharam of Lublin? and Chochmat Shlomo by the Maharshal) ... who corrected all errors that were found in the first editions..." Here appear references from Masoret HaTalmud, Tosfot and Poskim - Ein Mishpat.

Printed as part of a set of the Bavli Talmud by Yitzchak ben Aharon Prostitz - Krakow, 1604. 159 [i.e. 162] leaves. In the National Library, the book appears in the Rare Book Collection. On the title page, a fine poem by the above printer. New binding with a fine leather spine. Stains. The title page and some other leaves were professionally restored. Good overall condition.

On the last page, a lengthy ownership notation in Ashkenazic script and additional notations appear inside the book - have not been thoroughly examined.
