First Edition of Sefer Shemen Mishchat Kodesh by Rabbi Shlomo Molchi - Salonika, 1779 - Sharp Glosses on the Book by the Kabbalist the Rav the Dagan

Sefer Shemen Mishchat Kodesh, Kabbalistic commentary on Shir Hashirim, and at its end, Shoshanat Hamelech, Kabbalistic Piyyutim for Sabbath and the Jewish festivals, by Rabbi Shlomo Molcho [ben Rabbi David, a descendant of Rabbi Shlomo Molcho who died on Kiddush Hashem in Portugal during the Inquisition. He immigrated to Jerusalem and became a disciple of Rabbi Chaim Delarosa at the Beit El Yeshiva], with an approbation by the Maharit Algazi and Rabbi Yaakov Chazan - first edition, Salonika, 1779.

On the title page and the leaves of the book, 2 lengthy glosses with important content in which the writer disagrees with the author, writing sharply that the author's words contradict the Kabbalah of the rashash. The gloss is signed 'הדג"ן' referring to the Kabbalist Rav Rabbi David Djaoui of Tunisia.

An additional signature on the title page: "יעקב חדאד" referring to Rabbi Yaakov Chadad of Djerba, the author of Kenaf Renanim of Tehillim and Beit Yaakov on the Bible.
