Letter handwritten and signed by the holy brothers Maran Rabbi Nachum of Shadik and His Brother Rabbi Yaakov Yehuda Leib Löw Av Beit Din of Shelshin - Jerusalem 1862 - with reference to the Divine wonder-worker Rabbi Eliyahu Greiditz


The content of the letter: the brothers confirm that they received the money that the Tzaddik rav Rabbi Eliyahu Guttmacher of Greiditz had sent them: "אשר שלח לנו יד"נ הרב הגאב"ד גריידיץ מה' אלי' גוטמאכער הי"ו".

Good condition. 


Rabbi Nachum Löw (1810-1866) the son of the Gaon Rabbi Avraham Posenr and a disciple of the Gaon author of Chhemdat Shlomo. Served as Av Beit Din of Shadik. Immigrated to Eretz Yisrael and settled in Jerusalem, where he was soon recognized as a Tzaddik, Gaon and Kabbalist. 


His brother,   Rabbi Yaakov Yehuda Leib Löw (1813-1889) Av Beit Din of Shelshin. Immigrated to Erezt Yisrael where he served as Av Beit Din of the Badatz of Jerusalem. Established several Kollelim and served as the president of the Va'ad hakellali. His Torah novellae appear in his book Bayit LaAvot.
