Kuntres “Chag HaGeulah 12-13th Tammuz 1928”, - Tammuz 1990.

Kuntres “Chag HaGeulah 12-13th Tammuz, 1928”, published by Kehat, 1990 given directly by the Rebbe.

Bright binding. Good overall condition. With a notation of 'מיד כ"ק אדמו"ר שליט"א' (By the Admor Shlita) on the Kuntres.

Before Chag HaGeulah, the Rebbe ordered the publication of the famed Kuntres, with new additions (some for the first time).

Content: Maamarim by the Admor Rayatz, to be said during the week of Chag HaGeulah HaRishon, 12th Tammuz 1928. With Ma'amarim by the Admor offering a foundation and exegesis on these Ma'amarim. The Admor requested that at the end of the introduction, the passage which appears in the 11th Nissan Kuntres, together with a footnote regarding Psalms 89 be copied.

On Sunday night, eve of the 9th of Tammuz 1990, thousands of copies of this new and revised edition of the Kuntres were printed. The Rebbe returned from the Ohel at approx. 9:45 pm , and after a few minutes entered the shul for mincha and maariv. Meanwhile the public was notified that after maariv the Admor would hand out the new Kuntres, so a large crowd gathered.

The observant noted that the last Kuntres handed by the Rebbe, 11th Nissan, which had been left in his siddur ever since, was not there. At the end of Maariv, the Admor went down to the Chaluka station next to his Bimah, and began handing out copies with dollars inserted in them. The Admor gave each of those who passed a copy, saying nothing. To many of those who passed him, he smiled (especially children). When a chatan and kallah passed, he blessed them with mazal tov, and gave them two copies. The Chaluka went quickly, and one of the journals noted that when the men were passing, around 40 were handed out per minute. The Admor handed out approx. 30,500 Kuntresim, each with a dollar in it.
