Sefer Likutei Amaraim Tanya, 1000th edition. Published by Kehat-Otzar HaChassidim, 770 Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn New York, 11th Nissan 1984. Two matching bookmarks. High-quality paper. Wide margins, 505 leaves, 19cm. Very good overall condition. On the title page and flyleaf, the recipient's name.
With a dollar bill given at the same time as the book. Very good condition.
This elegant edition includes a bibliographic section featuring facsimiles of Tanya editions -
600(!) pages of photocopied title pages of the Tanya books that were published, as well as bibliographic lists and facsimiles of rare manuscripts of Sefer Hatanya.
In anticipation of the Rebbe’s birthday on 11th of Nissan 1984, the Rebbe ordered the printing of a special edition of the Tanya, a ‘1000th edition’, with facsimiles of prior editions. At the end of the Hisva’adut of the 11th Nissan he handed them out to each of the participants, with help from Avreichim of the Kollel. See: Mazkeret Netzach, 2011, p.16ff.
