In advance of the 20th of Cheshvan, the Mamar Vayihiyu Chayei Sarah 1970 was published. The Rebbe ordered to reprint a special edition in an elegant binding to be given out to everyone. The Chalukah was on Sunday, the eve of the 20th of Cheshvan, after the Aravit prayer, with a dollar for charity. This Kuntres was given out by the door to the Rebbe's room.
Sunday, the 20th of Chashvan 1991
After Shacharit, before the Chalukah of the dollars, the Admor announced that tonight he will give out the Kuntres Kaf Cheshvan which was to be reprinted in an elegant binding. Shortly after Aravit, the Rebbe began the Chalukah, standing by the door of his room, leaning on the Stender. A dollar for charity was enclosed with the Kuntres. To some of the people he said "Brachah Vehatzlacha"; to others, he said "Besha'ah Yovah". At the end of the Chalukah, the Rebbe took two Kuntresim and went inside his room.
