”My Friend the Rav Zvi Av Beit Din of Liska” First Edition of Sefer Apiryon, the Work on the Torah by Rabbeinu Shlomo Ganzfried the Author of the Kitzur Shulchan Aruch - Ungvar, 1864 with Unknown Covers - Sefer Apiryon, ”on Seder HaTorah authored by me the young Shlomo Ganzfried... to elucidate some verses and Dicrei Tzaddikim... Shlomo Ganzfried of Ungvar, auhtor of Sefer Keset HaSofer, Pnei Shlomo, Torat Zevach, Lechem Vesimlah and Kitzur Shulchan Aruch”. First edition. Ungvar - 1864. 76 leaves. In this copy there is a cover title and a back cover printed on pink paper, which are bibliographically unknown and have never been seen. Moth perforations and damage affecting the text of some leaves. Stains and other minor blemishes. Fair-good overall condition.  Apiryon Assah Loh Shlomo  Sefer Apiryon is a sweeter than honey work on Seder Parashiyot HaTorah by Rabbeinu Shlomo Ganzfried. The book was printed in Ungvar in 1864, in the same year the great work after which Rabbeinu was known, the Kitzur Shulchan Aruch, was published. Rabbeinu was also famed for his book Keset HaSofer, which became an invaluable asset for Hilchot Stam, so much so that the Chatam Sofer instructed not to authorize a scribe who was not well-versed in the book.  Hayoshevet Baganim Chaverim Makshivim - with the Rav of Liska Throughout the book, Rabbeinu the author refers to leading contemporary rabbis and others including the Yismach Moshe - ”And I have heard this from the Gaon Maharam Teitelbaum Av Beit Din of Oihel”, his rabbis the Maharam Esh and Rabi Zvi Hirsch Heller - the Tiv Gittin, Rabbi David Deutsch the author of Ohel David and more.  Surpasses them all is his famed Chavruta, Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Liska, to whom he refers three times: in Apiryon Emor, Apiryon Balak and Apiryon Pinchas.  Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Heller, the author of the Tiv Gittin - Rabbi Herscheleh Charif, who served as the Rav of Ungvar, moved to Bonyhad to serve as its Rav, taking his leading disciple, Rabbi Shlomo Ganzfried, with him. There, the fifteen-year-old boy found a Chavruta - Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Liska, who became his very close friend. Their Ahavat Torah continued in the correspondence between them after each one of them became Rav and it is indicated in this book as well as in the book Lechem Vesimlah by Rabbi Shlomo, which introduces some Chidushim by the Rav of Liska.
