Publsihed by Rabbi Shaul Broda Rabbi Moshe's son and Rabbi Avraham's grandson/ The book is adorned with approbations by leading contemporary rabbis including Rabbi Yaakov Yosha the author of the Pnei Yehoshua and Rabbeini Yehonatan Eibeschitz. First edition Frankfurt am Main, 1747. [2], 200 leaves. Late binding. Some tears along the edges of the leaves. Some damage to the text on the margins of the leaves. Stains. Good overall condition.  Varied ownership signatures of which the following were identified:  - ”מגן הוא לכל החותם בו, הק' משה בן המנוח כ”ה ליב ב”ה [בטלהיים] זצ”ל מפ”ב [מפרשבורג]”. - ”הק' אנשיל נייאמאן” - ראה להלן. בגב דף א' הגהה קצוצה כפי הנראה בכתי”ק. - ”שייך להאציל... כ”ה אברהם טעבין...” וכן בראש עמ' קא חתם את שמו: ”הק' אברהם” ובהמשך בעמ' קט-קי: ”טעבין יצ”ו” - ראה להלן. - ”שייך להר'? ר' מענדל טעבין” - ראה להלן. רישום זה חתום: ”הק' איציק.... ?”. Rabbi Asher Anschil Neuman (1799-1882) a disciple of the Chatam Sofer, the first Rav of Vietzen, Hungary, who was appointed when he was 34. Immigrated to Eretz Yisrael and was founder of the Hungarian community of Jerusalem. Fought against adding secular studies to the curriculum of the schools of Jerualem and more. In his old age became blind. Was buried in the Prushim Plot on the Mount of Olives. His Divrei Torah were published in his book Shemen LeAsher and Kerem Ben Shemen.  The activist Rabbi Avraham Tevin, the leader of the Pressburg community (d. 1768)  Supported the poor and Talmidei Chachamim and was known as taking care never to tell alie.  His son Rabbi Menachem Mendel Tevin the activist of Pressburg (d. 1824) like his father was occupied with community affairs. Built a synagogue and supported Talmidei Chachamim. Was always willing to make efforts for the public. Was one of those who signed the letter to Maran the Chatam Sofer inviting him to be the Rav of Pressburg. Funded the publishing of Sefer Hayashar by Rabbeinu Tam.  Rabbi Moshe Halevi Betelheim, the leader of the Pressburg community in the days of the Chatam Sofer (1773-1836) was a wealthy Talmid Chacham who dealt with the affairs of the community. Donated a lot of money to the community alongside his brothers-in-law, Rabbi Wolf Pappenehim and Rabbi Shmuel Guttman. Due to his efforts, the closing of the Chatam Sofer Yeshiva of Pressburg was prevented.
