The Midrash Rabba of the Rebbe of Vizhnitz: Midrash Rabba, Vayikra - Personal Copy of the Admor the Imrei Chaim of Vizhnitz, with a Gloss on One of the Leaves - Lemberg, 1860 - Midrash Rabba on Sefer Vayikra and Megillat Shir Hashirim - Lemberg, 1860. Copy that was personally used by the Imrei Haim of Vizhnitz. On the title page of the book, a handwritten notation: ”Rabbi Chaim Meir Hager” and on its lower part, a notation: ”As a gift” - apparently handwritten by the Rebbe. There are also several stamps: ”Chaim Meir Hager Tel Aviv”. In the book there is a single gloss apparently handwritten by Maran the Imrei Chaim. 134 leaves. Many moth holes. Poor condition. Fine new binding.  The Admor Rabbi Chaim Meir Hager (1888-1972)  the son of Admor Rabbi Yisrael the Ahavas Yisrael of Vizhnitz, son-in-law of the Admor Rabbi Zeev of Rachmastrivka, received his Hora'ah Semicha by the Maharsham of Brezan. Served as Rav of Wilchiwzi, Romania until the Holocaust, after which he established the Vizhnitz Chassidut in Israel. He founded Kiryat Vizhnitz, and Vizhnitz institutions which continue to flower in Bnei Brak. He was a member of Moetzet Gedolei HaTorah and one of the most prominent Charedi leaders in Israel.
