Stains and minor blemishes. Original bindings, slightly blemished. Good overall condition. This set of Arba'a Turim was used by Rabbi Chaim Zanvil Abramovich of Ribnitz and has many marks of usage. Rabbeinu studied these books the entire time he lived in Israel. The books were purchased by the Chassid Rabbi Zvi Tishler and he received them back from the Rebbe when he moved to live in the USA. On the flyleaf, a handwritten notation by Rabbi Zvi Tishler's son, Alexander Aharon Tishler, indicating the set was given by Rabbi Zvi Tishler to the Rebbe when he lived in Israel and when he moved to the USA, the Rebbe gave them back to him: ”ארבע טורים האלו נתנו ע”י אמו”ר ר' צבי טישלער ז”ל, לכב”ק הרה”ק מרבניץ זצוקלל”ה כשהגיע לארץ ישראל, לפני שהרבי עבר לארה”ב קרא לאבי ומסר לו את כל הספרים שלו וזה בכללם ואני לקחתיו מבית הרבי לבית אבי. וע”ז באה”ח אלכסנדר אהרן טישלער בן ר' צבי טישלער”. A similar short version of this was written on each of the volumes. Enclosed is a letter from 1982 by the Meshamesh Bakodesh of the Rav of Ribnitz, Rabbi Avraham Zvi Segal Glick, confirming this (see picture).
