With the Tshuvot Leleshonot HaRambam. Venice, 1749. Stefansky Sifrei Yesod 281. [2], 129 leaves. Moth perforations and damage. Stains and marks of usage. Wear affecting the text of some of the indices leaves at the end. Ancient binding, detached and without a spine - some of the first leaves and the last one is detached from the book yet not from the binding. Fair overall condition.  This book was published by Rabbi David Ashkenazi, the Shadar for Jerusalem to Italy, son of the author of the Eshel Avraham, author of a commentary on the Zohar. He published it from a manuscript of the Radbaz that had previously been hidden. The publisher received approbations from the leading rabbis of Jerusalem, Venice and Livorno, with a license from the rabbis of Venice. Rabbi David ben Zimra – the Radbaz (1479-1575), Rav of Safed, Rav of the Ari and of Rabbi Bezalel Ashkenazi author of the Shita Mekubetzet. On the title page and elsewhere, an ownership signature of Rabbi Moshe Shlomo Zalman Av Beit Din of Krakow . An additional stamp on the title page: from the estate of Rabbeinu the Pnei Menachem . Throughout the book, many references and glosses - apparently by one of its owners. Mounted on the flyleaf is an old leaf wih a handwritten list of titles of Sifrei Kodesh and their price.  The Gaon Rabbi Moshe Shlomo Zalman Bushka (d. 1816) the son of Rabbi Binyamin one of the leaders of Zamosht and tge brother of Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Av Beit Din of Zamosht author of Tiferet Zvi. Was a famed Gaon and Gedol Hador. At first served as Rav of Koretz and in 1799 was appointed Rav of Krakow. Following the dispute between the Chassidim and Misnagdim, he left the town and moved to Warsaw, where he passed away and was laid to rest. In Warsaw, he continued to sign as Av Beit Din of Krakow. Until his passing, the Krakow community refrained from appointing another Rav
