Manuscript Hagaddah shel Pesach with a Judeo-Arabic Translation - Baghdad, 1828 - Fine manuscript, Haggadah shel Pesach, orderly, ornate Oriental sccript, matching that of the Jews of Baghdad, with a Sercah - Judeo-Arabic translation according to the custom of the Jews of Iraq. The version of the Haggadah appears in its entirety and following each passage is its Judeo-Arabic translation. On the opening page, the Simanim of the Seder and on its verso, an illustration of the Seder plate. Some of the headings of the Simanim are ornated with fine decorations. The words at the beginning of each passage is in large fonts. Appearing in a frame at the beginning of Ha Lachma is the writer's name,   ”Emanuel Arzoni”. His name is also written on the colophon followed by the year שנת קפ”ח” - 1828”. 36 leaves. Stains including wine stains. Open tears to several leaves. Restorations for reinfircement in several places where the ink scorched the paper. Fine new binding.
