Lengthy Letter of Divrei Torah with a Story about an Amazing Dream about Maran the Chazon Ish - Handwritten and Signed by the Gaon Rabbi Avraham Neimark Author of the Eshel Avraham - ”Believe me, your honor, it was as difficult as the parting of the Red Sea to write this agains t (the halachic position of) the Gaon the Chazon Ish, whom I greatly revere - Lengthy and fascinating letter of Divrei Torah on the matter of Treifot - with a story about an amazing dream about the Chazon Ish - handwritten and signed by the Gaon Rabbi Avraham Yaakov Neimark Av Beit Din of Prienai and Tel Aviv.  The letter contains a lengthy Ma'aracha on Treifot, Halachic negotiation of four large pages handwritten by him. Among others, he disagrees with Maran the Chazon Ish's position while admiringly describing his figure and a dream he dreamt about Maran: ”Believe me, your honor, it was as difficult as the parting of the Red Sea to write this against (the halachic position) of the Gaon the Chazon Ish, whom I greatly revere ever since I met him. When he still lived in Tel Aviv, I used to visit him daily. I did not publish my first book on Masechet Zera'im until he went over the important matters there... just recently, I danced with him during Simchat Beit Hasho'evah and he told me publicly, Rav Neimark you should know that I have all your books and I study them...at dawn I dreamt that I was conversing with him on Divrei Torah and a woman entered to ask about a chicken she had and she approached him and he motioned her to approach me and I was delighted with this yet told him, your honor knows that I am from Tel Aviv and know his honor and will not teach Halacha before him... when I woke up, I was so happy...”. 4 leaves, on their verso, Chidushei Torah on varied matters handwritten by Rabbi Neimark.  21X25 cm.  Fold lines. Slight wear. Good condition.  The Gaon Rabbi Avraham Yaakov Neimark (1879-1962) one of the leading rabbis of Eretz Yisrael, Av Beit Din of Prienai, Lithuania and in his old age, of Tel Aviv. Was a disciple of the Geonim Rabbi Eliezer Gordon and Rabbi Shimon Shkop. Immigrated to Eretz Yisrael in 1924 and served as Av Beit Din of Tel Aviv. His book Eshel Avraham on Zera'im was appreciated by Maran the Chazon Ish and his disciples as indicated by this letter.
