Invitation by the Admor the Imrei Emet of Ger for the Werdding of his Youngest Son the Admor the Pnei Menachem - Jerusalem, 1946 - Printed invitation from the year of  'יבוא דוד המשיח בקרוב' (1946) to the wedding of the Admor the Pnei Menachem of Ger and his cousin, the Rebbetzin Tzipora, the granddaughter of his father's brother, Rabbi Moshe Bezalel. The invitation is by his father, the Imrei Emet of Ger. Rottenberg Press, Jerusalem. The first lines of the invitation are an acrostic forming the bridegroom's name. The wedding took place of Tuesday, Tamuz 10, (1946) the year of 'ה' יגאל עמו ישראל”. At the end of the invitation, blessings by the bridegroom's father:  ”יעזור ה' ששמחתנו תשפיע שמחה על כל ישראל ונזכה לקבוץ גלויות ולגאולה שלמה”.   ”I shall bless the cup on the infant's wedding” The Chassid Rabbi Shamai Ginzburg recalled the following story: the Brit of the Admor the Pnei Menachem took place in Flinitz, a resort town near Warsaw. The Imrei Emet, the baby's father, honored the grandfather, the Gaon Rabbi Yaakov Meir Biederman, with Birkat Hamazon. Rabbi Yaakov Meir Biederman offered  the Zimun to the baby's father. The Imrei Emet promised that he shall bless on this important baby's wedding. The participants were all overjoyed to hear the Rebbe's promise that he shall merit attending his youngest son's wedding. The realization of the promise involved many miracles. Difficult times came. The world war exacted a very high price yet the Rebbe's promise was fulfilled. During the wedding of his son, the Admor the Pnei Menachem, which took place in Jerusalem, the Rebbe the Imrei Emet blessed the cup. Moreover, the wine bottle from the Brit was sent to Rabbi Avraham Mordechai Alter (the Pnei Menachem's future in-law) for the Chassidim of Jerusalem.  Double single paper. Approx. 21.5X27 cm.
