An extremely rare edition of this small in quantity yet big in quality book. Rohtin Press, Lemberg. Originally, [16] leaves - in this copy, the leaf following the title page is missing. Detached leaves. Some tears slightly affecting the text. Moth perforations and stains. Original binding, detached and worn. Good overall condition.  Rabbi Yisroel Halpern, known as Rabbi Yisroel Karduner (1867-1918) after his town of Karden, was born to a family of Misnagdim. In his youth, he became close to the Breslov Chassidut and became a leading disciple of Rabbi Moshe Breslover. Dealt with the publishing of Breslov books. Was famed as the Rav of Rabbi Yisroel Odesser. Passed away during a plague in 1918 with his son and daughter and was buried in the old cemetery of Tiberius.
