Touching Letter by the Gaon Rabbi Aryeh Zeev Gurevich the Rosh Yeshiva of Gateshead - to Rabbi Hillel Medalia - Gateshead, 1959 - Letter of blessings for a wedding - opening a window to the Rosh Yehsiva's religious work - handwritten and signed by the Gaon Rabbi Aryeh Zeev Gurevich, the Rosh Yeshiva of Gateshead - Gateshead, 1959.  At the beginning of his letter, Rabbeinu writes florid blessings for Rabbi Medalia's wedding: ”הנה ברך לקחתי לברכו בכל מילי דמיטב... קורא אני עליה מצא אשה מצא טוב וה' הטוב יפתח לכם את אוצרו הטוב וישפיע לכם שפע ברכת כל טוב... ועשה חיל באפרתה וקרא שם בבית לחם..”. Later, he apologizes for not attending the joyful event and by the way, opens a window to his devoted work of raising the Bnei Aliyah of following generations: ”צר לי מאד על שאין לי באפשרות להשתתף בשמחתו... אבל הרי משועבד אני ועל מי אעזוב את גדיי הצאן, בפרט כי הימים ימי התחלת הלמודים לחודש אלול שצריכים חזוק....”. 12.5X20.5 cm.  Filing holes. Good condition.  The Gaon Rabbi Aryeh Ze'ev Gurevich, known as Reb Leib (1906-1983) the son of Rabbi Moshe Aharon Kushlosky, the Rav of Malat, and the son-in-law of Rabbi Eliyahu Lupian, who married him off to his daughter by the recommendation of the Mashgi'ach Rabbi Yerucham Leibowitz of Mir. Was the Rosh Yeshiva of Gateshead for over thirty years.
