Complete Set in an Ancient Leather Binding: Tikkun Sofrim Hayesharim with Completions in Beautiful Artistic Script and Handwritten Numbering of the Words and Letters of the Torah - First Edition of Sefer Divrei Emet Amsterdam, 1767 - Tikkun Sofrim Hayesharim with the first edition of Sefer Divrei Emet, by Rabbi Yitzchak Itzak Premsla and reprinted (based on the Amsterdam 1751 edition) by his son Rabbi Zvi Hersch in Amsterdam in 1767. The Press of Rabbi Leib ben Rabbi Moshe Sussman. With an approbation by Rabbi Shaul Av Beit Din of Amsterdam, the Binyan Ariel, and his brother-in-law, Rabbi Shaul Av Beit Din of Hague, the Binyan Shaul. Two title pages for each section, the first with a copper-engraving. In addition, a separate title page for each section of the Haftarot of each section (bound in this copy at its end, after all the Chumashim). Some moth damage. Stains. Some taping and tears, Good overall condition. Impressive ancient leather binding.  Handwritten completions and numbering of the words and letters of the Torah At the beginning of Sefer Vayikra, the leaves that were missing were completed with extraordinarily beautiful and artistic script matching the original including a completion of the title pages including the illustrated one. Throughout all the Chamisha Chumshei Torah, written on the right and left is the numbering of the words and letters of the verses with their sum at the end of each Parasha and a total sum at the end of each Chumash. A rare, commendable work of a Tzurba MiRabanan, ”לפיכך נקראו ראשונים סופרים שהיו סופרים כל האותיות שבתורה”. Ancient ownership signatures On the title pages of the sections, varied ownership signatures, which were not studied. Those that were deciphered include:  - ”קניתי מהוני פה ברלין אצל הרבני מו' משה חאזייוש? ביום ל”ג בעומר תקמ”ח לפ”ק, הק' שמעון זילבר בעריג???”. - ”הק' מ”ה”. - ”וואלף פ...?”. - ”שייך להקצין ר' בענדיט געוויר...”.
