And we have revised the ancient order to be fair to those who want the Chumash in five volumes...(to distinguish from another edition that was published in the same year in a single volume)”. Printed in Venice by the printer Gad ben Rabbi Yitzchak Poah in 1802. Moth perforations and damage. Stains and other blemishes. Detached leaves. Contemporary leather bindings with minor differences between them. Scuffs and minor blemishes to bindings. Not studied leaf-by-leaf. Faded gilt edges. Good overall condition. Ownership embossment on the bindings of Avraham bar Yaakov.  Rarity  This set is extremely rare. A similar copy has only recently reached The Valmadonna Trust Library and the National Library in Jerusalem and there too, 2 Chumashim are missing. The listing of the Bibliography of the Hebrew Book is based on an incomplete copy.
