Rare - the Only Copy in the World! Unique and Interesting Work: Sefer Moreh Derech - Single Edition Lithograph Galicia? 1892 - Sefer Moreh Derech, a unique and interesting work which due to its small size had vanished into oblivion and apparently, due to it being a lithograph, had only a limited number of copies in the first place. We could not find a copy in any bibliographic record or library and apparently, this is the only copy in the world.    The work, as stated in its introduction, was authored ”since due to troubles and hassles, it is impossible for us to observe all Taryag Miztvot. Therefore I, the undersigned, compiled all the MItzvot to be observed at this time abroad. And surely the book will be bought by anyone who Yirat Hashem touches his heart. Yekutiel Zalman Rappaport of Brody, Galicia. Finished on Tuesday, Rosh Chodesh Elul 1892”. [2], 6 pp. 17 cm. No binding. Stains and some moth perforations. Good overall condition.  Lithograph - the only one in the world? Lithography is a planographic method of printing originally based on the immiscibility of oil and water. The printing is from a stone (lithographic limestone) or a metal plate with a smooth surface. European lithographs are extremely rare as the technique was used mainly in eastern countries. The Bibliography of the Hebrew Book and the National Library of Jerusalem used this copy for bibliographic details of the work and apparently, this is the only copy in the world that survived.
