Rare! Letter Handwritten and Signed by the Gaon Rabbi Avraham Elyashiv, the Son-in-Law of the Mekubal Baal Haleshem and the Father of the Gaon Rabbi Yosef Shalom Elyashiv - Letter handwritten and signed by the Gaon Rabbi Avraham Elyashiv Av Beit Din of Homel - the son-in-law of the Mekubal Rabbi Shlomo Elyashiv Baal Haleshem - and the father of Maran the Gaon Rabbi Yosef Shalom Elyashiv - Jerusalem, 1932. Rabbeinu sent his letter to the council for strengthening the observation of the Sabbath. In it, he informs he is sending two representatives on his behalf to serve as members of the council: ”אתכבד לברך אתכם שתתקדמו על שדה הפעולה ששמתם למטרתכם, ושתצליחו להסיר כל מיני מכשולים שתפגשו בדרככם...”. Rare! Letters handwritten by Rabbeinu are extremely rare and difficult to obtain! Official stationery.  20.5X27 cm.  Filing holes. Good condition.  The Gaon Rabbi Avraham Elyashiv, Der Homler Rov (1977-1943) the Rav of Homel, Belarus. After he immigrated to Eretz Yisrael, he was the founder and Rav of Tioferet Bachurim in Jerusalem. He was a disciple of the Chafetz Chaim and the Maggid RabbiElyakum Getzel Levitan. He Married the daughter of the Mekubal Rabbi Shlomo Elyashiv Baal Haleshem. His only son was Maran the Posek Rabbi Yosef Shalom Elyashiv. Published his father-in-law's books and authored the book Bikurei Avraham.
